Like I did for Dirk Nowitzki, I will do the same for Dwyane Wade. Wade has given us some flashy memories over his 16-year career, and I will quickly go through them as we as fans continue to thank him!
All the battles he had with my beloved Lakers, but none ever resulted in an NBA championship series against Kobe Bryant. Let’s be honest NBA fans, we all wanted to see Wade and LeBron James go head-to-head with Kobe and the Lakers, but Nowitzki wasn’t having that.

Making an 0-2 series in NBA Finals look impossible to win, it was a good show of how far you been.
Though you don’t have the stats you’d like, you’ll always be one of the best, like Kobe and Mike.
Regardless of being 29th on the all-time points scored list, you’ve always been one to assist.
Your character on and off the court is what made you become so idolized, and for it, you have been recognized.
All season you have swapped jerseys with some of the best players in the game today, and you’ll always be reminded by it when you walk down the Hallway.
In year three, you led the Heat in their first NBA championship in history.
As the Finals MVP, your career continued to excel with your sweet delivery.
That delivery of repeated buzzer beaters made us all believers.
From the title with Shaq to the “Big 3” with Chris Bosh and LeBron James, South beach has always had your back as the Heat continued to make flames.
You’re a three-time NBA Champ, and you helped bring a lot of young guys to the Heat Camp.
Despite the year and a half departure, American Airlines Arena is your house.
Year after year, you’ve always worked harder, and for that, you belong with the powerhouse.
Like Alonzo Mourning, Shaquille O’Neal, Chris Bosh, and Tim Hardaway, you too will have your number retired.
But Zaire’s got your DNA, and we look for him to continue your fire.
As this was your one last dance, we saw you complete your L3GACY!
I want to give you one last thanks for giving me the chance to watch you create a Heat dynasty.
