Last Week’s Prediction Records:

Aman: 10-6

Cullen: 8-8

Mickayeen: 8-8

Rahim: 9-7

Joel: 9-7

Adam: 7-9

Kevin: 8-8

Josh: 11-5

Dan: 10-6

Christan: 8-8

Overall Prediction Records:

Aman: 110-65-1

Cullen: 117-58-1

Mickayeen: 108-67-1

Rahim: 101-74-1

Joel: 111-64-1

Adam: 112-63-1

Kevin: 61-38 (Started Week 7)

Josh: 46-25 (Started Week 9)

Dan: 43-28 (Started Week 9)

Christan: 26-18 (Started Week 11)

After having a bad week in Week 11, our team bounced back nicely in Week 12. Then in Week 13, we took a step back again. Week 13 wasn’t as bad as Week 11, but it wasn’t our best team performance. However, Aman, Josh and Dan all picked at least 10 games correctly last week.

You should have seen how things were looking as I was counting everyone’s weekly record at the start. Because of several upsets, such as the Cardinals beating the Packers and Jaguars beating the Colts, things were not looking good. We did rebound though, having a strong finish to the week.

With four more weeks to go in the regular season, Cullen has a five game lead over Adam. Several others are making some progress, but we’re running out of time. Can we catch Cullen before it’s too late? Let’s find out who we’ve all picked for Week 14’s games.

Jaguars vs Titans (Thursday)

Aman: Titans

Cullen: Titans

Mickayeen: Titans

Rahim: Jaguars

Joel: Titans

Adam: Titans

Kevin: Titans

Josh: Titans

Dan: Titans

Christan: Titans

It was nice to see the Jaguars FINALLY snap their losing streak. Although it wasn’t the prettiest win (6-0), a win is a win. If the Jaguars’ defense can play the same shut down defense they played against Andrew Luck and the Colts, then they could possibly do it against Marcus Mariota. The funny thing is, if the Jaguars defense continues to play well and the offense does enough to get by, the Jaguars could win out and maybe get into the playoff hunt if things go in their favorite this week. – RahimAli Merchant

Browns vs Panthers

Aman: Browns

Cullen: Browns

Mickayeen: Browns

Rahim: Panthers

Joel: Panthers

Adam: Panthers

Kevin: Browns

Josh: Panthers

Dan: Panthers

Christan: Panthers

The Panthers were once only a game back of being in the lead for the NFC South, but now are not even in the playoffs. However, at 6-6 they are still very much alive in the hunt, but they need to start winning games again. What better way to do it than against the Cleveland Browns? Can the Panthers defense get after rookie QB Baker Mayfield like the Texans did last week? Or will they continue finding ways to lose? – RahimAli Merchant

Ravens vs Chiefs

Aman: Chiefs

Cullen: Chiefs

Mickayeen: Chiefs

Rahim: Chiefs

Joel: Chiefs

Adam: Ravens

Kevin: Ravens

Josh: Ravens

Dan: Chiefs

Christan: Ravens

Yeah, so the Chiefs let the Raiders hang around too long, but it’s not because of the Kareem Hunt issues. The Chiefs’ defense isn’t good, but they don’t necessarily need to worry about an explosive game from Ravens QB Lamar Jackson unless it’s with his feet. QB Patrick Mahomes and TE Travis Kelce have formed a real connection that will not be a letdown for the Chiefs offensively. And honestly, I’d rather see the Chiefs still be ahead of the Chargers going into their game next week, but my results….. Wait until then! – RahimAli Merchant

Colts vs Texans

Aman: Texans

Cullen: Texans

Mickayeen: Texans

Rahim: Colts

Joel: Texans

Adam: Texans

Kevin: Texans

Josh: Texans

Dan: Texans

Christan: Texans

The five game winning streak was snapped against the Jaguars last week. The Colts’ offense couldn’t get anything going, but that will not be the same this week against Houston. Although Houston has the longest current winning streak in the NFL right now, the Colts are looking to become a playoff team. All games matter, as there is only one spot available for five teams. – RahimAli Merchant

Patriots vs Dolphins

Aman: Patriots

Cullen: Patriots

Mickayeen: Dolphins

Rahim: Patriots

Joel: Patriots

Adam: Patriots

Kevin: Patriots

Josh: Patriots

Dan: Patriots

Christan: Patriots

It’s the Patriots versus their own division. That’s all we really need to say. Although the Dolphins’ offense does look a lot better with QB Ryan Tannenhill back behind center, I just don’t see the Patriots losing another division game this season. But their game against the Steelers….. I don’t know, you tell me next week! – RahimAli Merchant

Giants vs Redskins

Aman: Giants

Cullen: Giants

Mickayeen: Redskins

Rahim: Giants

Joel: Giants

Adam: Giants

Kevin: Giants

Josh: Giants

Dan: Redskins

Christan: Giants

Do the Giants really not want the best chances of getting a top five pick? I mean, I understand wanting to win, but playing teams with backup QBs might help them win games. I mean honestly, did you see how bad Washington looked on Monday night. If it wasn’t for RB Adrian Peterson’s career long 90 yard touchdown, they might not have even scored a touchdown in the game. – RahimAli Merchant

Saints vs Buccaneers

Aman: Saints

Cullen: Saints

Mickayeen: Saints

Rahim: Saints

Joel: Saints

Adam: Saints

Kevin: Saints

Josh: Saints

Dan: Saints

Christan: Saints

You can’t win them all, unless you’re the 1974 Miami Dolphins. But even then, the Saints wouldn’t have had a perfect season because of their season opening loss to the Buccaneers. This game isn’t about getting back on the winning side of things, but getting revenge for a divisional loss that shocked everyone. – RahimAli Merchant

Falcons vs Packers

Aman: Falcons

Cullen: Packers

Mickayeen: Packers

Rahim: Packers

Joel: Packers

Adam: Packers

Kevin: Falcons

Josh: Packers

Dan: Packers

Christan: Falcons

The new era of the Packers starts here. They will find a way to get back on the winning side of things, even if that means that QB Aaron Rodgers has to throw, kick, catch and run the ball by himself. The Packers’ wildcard hopes are pretty much over with, but they have a very slim chance of making the playoffs as the division winner. That will only happen if they can win out. How will this team look without Mike McCarthy? – RahimAli Merchant

Jets vs Bills

Aman: Bills

Cullen: Bills

Mickayeen: Bills

Rahim: Bills

Joel: Bills

Adam: Bills

Kevin: Bills

Josh: Jets

Dan: Bills

Christan: Jets

I’ve liked Josh Allen since the beginning of the season when the Bills drafted him. I do think they have put him in a bad situation and he’s making the best of it, especially since he has returned from injury. The Bills don’t have a shot to make playoffs, but a nice couple of wins to end the season is always a great feeling. What a better way to win than winning against a divisional rival? – RahimAli Merchant

Bengals vs Chargers

Aman: Chargers

Cullen: Chargers

Mickayeen: Chargers

Rahim: Chargers

Joel: Chargers

Adam: Chargers

Kevin: Chargers

Josh: Chargers

Dan: Chargers

Christan: Chargers

Okay, so last week I said it was going to be tough for the Chargers without Gordon, but they overcame a slow, runless first half and beat the Steelers. I really think the Chargers can challenge the best teams in the league and have a chance against them on any day. The Bengals are not that. They will take care of the Bengals, who are just beaten and bruised all over the offense. – RahimAli Merchant

Broncos vs 49ers

Aman: Broncos

Cullen: Broncos

Mickayeen: Broncos

Rahim: Broncos

Joel: Broncos

Adam: Broncos

Kevin: Broncos

Josh: Broncos

Dan: Broncos

Christan: Broncos

The only real offense for the Broncos has been undrafted rookie RB Phillip Lindsay. He has been the best thing to happen to them since they were able to get Peyton Manning. But let’s not forget about the defense, who has kept them in the game long enough for Lindsay and the offense to do what they need to. This will be another great week where the Broncos win and remain in the playoff hunt, as they get their fourth win in a row. – RahimAli Merchant

Eagles vs Cowboys

Aman: Cowboys

Cullen: Cowboys

Mickayeen: Eagles

Rahim: Eagles

Joel: Cowboys

Adam: Cowboys

Kevin: Eagles

Josh: Cowboys

Dan: Cowboys

Christan: Eagles

After doing what they needed to on Monday night against the Redskins, they will get what they need on Sunday against the Cowboys! It will be interesting to see how the Eagles can finish and whether one or both teams can make the playoffs. The winner of this game will take over the division lead. – RahimAli Merchant

Steelers vs Raiders

Aman: Steelers

Cullen: Steelers

Mickayeen: Steelers

Rahim: Steelers

Joel: Steelers

Adam: Steelers

Kevin: Steelers

Josh: Steelers

Dan: Steelers

Christan: Steelers

It’s a nice feeling to have the Raiders on the schedule after taking two bad losses late in the fourth quarter like the Steelers did. This game will help them prep for next week’s showdown against the New England Patriots. It is also a must win for the Steelers, as they have their division rival, Baltimore Ravens fighting for the division. So let’s hope the Steelers take care of business in a big win over the Raiders. – RahimAli Merchant

Lions vs Cardinals

Aman: Cardinals

Cullen: Lions

Mickayeen: Lions

Rahim: Cardinals

Joel: Lions

Adam: Cardinals

Kevin: Lions

Josh: Lions

Dan: Cardinals

Christan: Lions

If I were the Cardinals, I’d rather lose, but the Lions are just so bad since trading away Golden Tate that they could be one of the worst teams in the league. Cardinals rookies will shine again in a game that means absolutely nothing to both teams, except where they’ll be drafting. – RahimAli Merchant

Rams vs Bears (Sunday Night)

Aman: Bears

Cullen: Rams

Mickayeen: Rams

Rahim: Rams

Joel: Rams

Adam: Rams

Kevin: Rams

Josh: Bears

Dan: Bears

Christan: Rams

After being the first team to clinch a playoff spot and their division, the Rams might actually start resting players. Oh wait, not so fast! The Rams haven’t clinched home-field advantage nor the first place seed just yet. That’s why it’ll be important for the Rams to beat the Bears. And it shouldn’t be too bad, since they’re much better than the Giants, who beat them last week. If Bears’ QB Mitchell Trubisky misses this game, the Bears will likely loss drop another. – RahimAli Merchant

Vikings vs Seahawks (Monday Night)

Aman: Seahawks

Cullen: Seahawks

Mickayeen: Seahawks

Rahim: Seahawks

Joel: Seahawks

Adam: Seahawks

Kevin: Seahawks

Josh: Seahawks

Dan: Seahawks

Christan: Seahawks

Not having a chance to win the division, the Seahawks turned their attention to the Wild Card. After this win against the Vikings, they will own the tie-breaker against all the NFC teams in the playoff hunt behind them. Teams like the Packers, Panthers, Vikings and Cowboys (if they lose to Eagles). That should help them clinch the a Wild Card spot. – RahimAli Merchant
